WELCOME TO EASTER PLANET

At Easter Planet, we want people to think about their choices, and how those choices impact on the planet.

Our primary aim is to increase the pressure on politicians and businesses to reduce carbon emissions.  Our method is by clever (hopefully) messaging through our Products, designed to get people to question their own views on the world environment, and to put pressure on decision makers.

We believe that political parties will do anything to stay in power.  We then must do everything we can to convince politicians that climate change and the environment are the most important issues today.  Have a look at our thoughts on our Politics page.

Through people power, we want to reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere to the point that the planet stops warming.  The impacts of climate change are not just a prediction or scientific forecast but are being observed now through some highly visible events including;

• Melting ice-caps and glaciers

• Extended intense fire seasons particularly in Australia and eastern USA, but also Europe. and

a whole range of less visible events, such as the acidification of oceans.​

We want people to look for environmentally responsible choices when making purchases, be it large or small. See some everyday issues we examine on our Consider this page, designed to make people think a bit more deeply about their choices.

Our secondary aim is to raise awareness of the over-harvesting of natural resources and the impact of waste.  Our site also has some information on a wide range of subjects on our Science/Viewpoints page.

We must keep pushing hard to those who can make decisions to save the environment, because as we all know, political parties will do what it takes to stay in power.
